These skis are the image of this legendary plane, the STAGGERWING (BEECH 17), one of the first  VIP planes to take off on November 4, 1932. This plane was integrating many innovations for the time including the wings location quite in an opposite way compared to tradition.

They are manufactered with identical technologies, the same care, and  the same materials as the fully customized AZ skis. These skis are offered in eleven models according to four uses and four  levels of performance . Every model is defined with a geometry (size, side cut, width at the midsection)  optimized to the skier morphology  and the type of skiing contemplated.

  • 60 The morphology index
    it relates to :
The weight for the definition of the snow contact area giving an optimized pressure on snow according to the use. Also, element tightly connected to the speed potential in turn, it defines the radius of the sidecut.
The length of the lower part of the leg, height from the ground to the kneecap axis, parametre wich is proportional to the diameter of the tibia head. It defines the width of the ski under of the foot for an optimal confort of the knee, a very sensitive joint.

  • 00 The use index
Value indicated in  percentage of the ski ability out of trail.
This criteria relates to the snow contact area  depending on the snow conditions of your favorite playground. Groomed on the trails, natural and with a low density out of trails, the snow requests  optimal pressure parameters to grant  the ski its easiness, its forgiveness and its expected performance.
