The AZ Atelier (Workshop)

Located in the Alps, in Voiron area - historic birthplace of the French ski industry ( Le Trappeur, Dynamic, Skis Rossignol, Sidas) - AZ Atelier develops and manufactures skis within a concept unique in the world : You are welcome.

Here is the crossroad of crafts and technology, the ancestral moves which gave birth to the ski and the technical innovations which modify it still today. Presses, electronic analyzers and computers are side by side with glue brushes and noble woods. Such an alchemy necessary to keep a tight connection with the ski makes the daily life of Alain Zanco.

The skis coming out of this Workshop are rare products designed exclusively for each skier.

It is a privilege belonging to the Club AZ, customers and partners, to enter the Workshop. Here, you may smell its wood scents or varnish, can feel its creative atmosphere and benefit from all the explanations of the designer. A webcam device will allow you to attend all the manufacturing steps of your pair of skis, the making of the mold and components, the molding and the finish.
